Responsibilities

Working in a large corporation with many employees and multiple layers of management is quite different from working in a startup. Corporations usually have strict structures and detailed procedures because of the many stakeholders involved and the complex decision-making processes. In contrast, startups typically have flexible roles and require employees to handle a variety of tasks at once. When moving from a startup to a corporate setting, employees must adapt to narrower, more specialized roles, which can affect how quickly and effectively they respond to new challenges and project needs.

When I began my career at MAN, my initial role involved working as a UI Designer, creating detailed graphical elements for the new TGX truck. Deliverables required precise, pixel-perfect content. My responsibilities included designing layouts for various features within both the cluster and infotainment systems.

Over time, my role evolved to emphasize UX design. My tasks expanded to include creating prototypes for user testing, optimizing design processes, and developing the internal design system. This transition allowed me to contribute more strategically by focusing on enhancing user experiences and streamlining workflows across projects.
